Welcome to FFA Training Portal
FFA is committed to collecting, analysing, evaluating and sharing information relevant to our Members with respect to the living marine resources of the region and in particular the highly migratory species. This function requires the Agency to develop and build the capacity of our Members to interpret and apply this information to their own specific circumstances.
The FFA training unit strives to support members to achieve their fisheries management and development aspirations through the creation of formal courses of learning that lead to regionally recognised qualifications with learning and career pathway opportunities.
Driven by increasing responsibilities associated with the regional management of offshore fisheries FFA supports Members to build capacity at the national and regional level by providing advice, mentoring, competency based and online learning and development opportunities.
