FFA MCS Officers’ Standards and Curriculum Training Guidelines

The MCS Officers' standards and curriculum training guidelines detail the foundation skills, knowledge and performance criteria MCS Officer's require in order to competently take on an entry level role within fisheries. The MCS Officers course, now accredited by the University of South Pacific (USP) and known as the Certificate IV in Fisheries Enforcement and Compliance (CEFC4) is comprised of four courses of learning covering such topics as international legal frameworks, fisheries management, boarding and inspection and MCS tools.
